About Charlotte Beechey
A fine artist specializing in expressive acrylic landscapes and sensory abstract works. Charlotte captures the raw, tactile energy of the natural world through bold color and layered texture, inviting collectors on a journey of visual escape.
The Inner Landscape
My journey into the world of fine art began with a profound fascination for the untamed beauty of the natural world. Growing up in a small Welsh town surrounded by the shifting moods of the countryside, sea and industrial environment of a Steel factory, I developed a keen eye for the subtle interplays of light and shadow that define a moment. With no formal education in art, my true voice emerged through years of experimentation with the tactile nature of acrylics on canvas.
Inspired by both classical techniques and contemporary abstraction, my work seeks to capture the 'inner landscape' - the emotional resonance of a place rather than its literal depiction. My process is one of layering and revelation, using bold textures and a vibrant palette to invite viewers into a sensory experience. Today, my pieces reside in private collections, each serving as a window into a shared moment of wonder and quiet reflection.
Kind Words
“Commissioning a piece from Charlotte was a smooth, easy process. The piece was finished within 2 weeks and the final landscape perfectly captures my experience of seeing the Northern Lights" - Richard
“I'd never ordered a commission before, I didn't know if it would suit my home but Charlotte created mock ups, trials and ideas and was very hands on with the process. I now have a beautiful painting in my home that all of my friends constantly ask about! Thank you!” - Ellen
